Not financial advice. quant.trading is research and education software. It is not a broker, investment adviser or commodity trading advisor, and nothing on the site or in the app is a personal recommendation or an offer to buy or sell any security, future, option or crypto asset.

Trading is risky

Trading futures, options, stocks, crypto and leveraged products involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. With leverage you can lose more than you deposit. Only trade money you can afford to lose, and consider getting advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation.

Backtests are hypothetical

Backtests, win rates, returns, drawdowns, Sharpe ratios and replays are calculated on past prices. They are hypothetical: no real trades were made, and they can't account for everything that happens in real trading, such as slippage, fees, liquidity, gaps and the pressure of trading real money. Results can be tuned to fit the past. Past performance, real or simulated, does not predict future results.

Signals, levels and forecasts can be wrong

Options levels, order flow, indicators, model forecasts, news summaries and research canvases are tools to help you think, not predictions. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.

AI can be wrong

The assistants can write code with bugs, misread data and state wrong things confidently. Check what they produce before you rely on it, and never treat an AI answer as advice.

Paper trading isn't real trading

Paper trading uses simulated money and simulated fills. Results on paper are often better than the same strategy would do with real money.

Shop listings and other members

Algorithms, indicators, posts and chat from other members are their own views. We don't check them, and their results are hypothetical.

Live trading

If you connect a Hyperliquid account, your orders are real and go straight from your browser to Hyperliquid. You alone decide and are responsible for them. Crypto derivatives are high risk and are restricted or not allowed in some countries, including for US persons.

People and companies

Canvases and the CRM show real people and companies, using public sources. Showing someone does not mean they are connected with, use or endorse quant.trading.
